Jessica Knight is a Melbourne based feminist, writer, poet and artist. She won a Creative Partnerships grant in 2014. She is the author of three zines: Tongue Between Teeth, WHITE AND RED CELLS and All The Pretty People And A Fussy Little Sick. Her writing has been published in The Victorian Writer magazine, Meanjin and SCUM Mag. Last Year she was a recipient of The Besen Family Play Writing Fellowship. Jessica’s key interests are how the personal and political intersect.
During her residency at And Also Presents Jessica completed the first draft of her play. The play is entitled ( for now) All The Pretty People And A Fussy Little Sick. A play about the weird and surreal world of sickness and hospitals and what can happen when you are stripped of control over what your body and mind can do.
